Commercial Litigation

Our firm has an active commercial litigation practice and is prepared to see cases through trial and appeal when needed. We practice in all areas of commercial litigation and feature particular expertise in commercial loan workouts, foreclosures and real estate, eminent domain, construction, construction defect, land use, and partnership litigation, along with other general business litigation.

We represent our clients in pre-litigation dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, and at trial. Our firm seeks to identify each client’s goals prior to the commencement of litigation so that case strategy can be tailored to each client’s individual needs. Our attorneys also have substantial experience advising and helping clients avoid litigation when it is threatened.

Once in litigation, our attorneys have extensive expertise in conducting discovery, responding to discovery, and handling experts. They have experience with insurance law, understand how to invoke insurance coverage, and are comfortable negotiating with insurance defense attorneys.

Additionally, we have an active property tax appeal practice and assist our clients in maintaining appropriate valuation of their real property for tax purposes. We represent a diverse client base in litigation matters including property owners, developers, landlords and tenants, homeowner’s associations, lending institutions, and business owners.

Our attorneys have successfully tried cases to many juries, trial courts, and arbitrators, and have successfully appeared before several appellate courts.
